Semarang (14/08) – The Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi held a working visit at Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang on Saturday, 13 August 2016 yesterday. He was accompanied by the President Director and Technical Director of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero). His arrival was welcomed by the General Manager and all officials of the Ahmad Yani Airport Branch Office and two Airport Ambassadors.
On landing at the domestic arrival terminal, Budi saw and monitored around the Ahmad Yani Airport while heard the explanation given by the General Manager related to what has been done in the Ahmad Yani Airport today to improve services. After passing through arrival terminals, the Minister of Transportation continued his journey outside the airport and back again at 10.00 Western Indonesian Time.
Exactly at 10.00 Western Indonesian Time the Minister of Transportation arrived at the Ahmad Yani Airport’s VIP Room. The Team of Ahmad Yani Airport Development Project came and participated in welcoming the arrival of the Minister of Transportation. After that, a brief explanation about the Ahmad Yani Airport Development Project was described by the President Director who was also assisted by the Technical Director and General Manager.
To shorten the time, the Minister of Transportation held a direct inspection on the site. Technical Director and Project Leader explained directly related to the project that is being built. The Minister also gave some inputs for the development of future projects. Then the Minister back to Ahmad Yani International Airport to continue his journey to Jakarta.
